Today education in the Caribbean as we know it is under strain. Its usefulness questioned and its delivery methods inadequate. The pandemic has highlighted major changes which must occur for the region to deliver a graduate for the future. What we know is that education will never disappear, however, It will need to take up different forms. How can we use the lessons of the COVID-19 crisis to help shape the future of education? How can we provide students with opportunities to learn at different times in different places? How can we use eLearning tools to facilitate opportunities for more effective remote learning in a self-paced environment? How can we move to personalised learning? How can we better address the digital divide and inequities highlighted by remote learning?
