What does it mean to be born into conflict and still choose growth?
In this intimate and courageous conversation, we meet a young woman whose life began during one of Africa's most brutal conflicts — born in captivity amid the war between the Lord’s Resistance Army and Ugandan government forces. From surviving trauma few can imagine to now pursuing her Master’s degree at the University of Notre Dame, her journey is a testament to the extraordinary power of resilience.
Together, we’ll explore what healing truly looks like, how she navigated identity and purpose after war, and the inner work it takes to rise beyond the labels of victimhood. This session is not just about trauma — it's about reclamation, vision, and the quiet revolutions women carry within themselves.
Her story reminds us that no matter our starting point, we have the power to rewrite our future.
