Terms of Service

As a donor, when you make a donation to our project, you understand that the following rules and Terms apply.

  1. Voluntary Donations. All Donations are made voluntarily and at the sole discretion and risk of the Donor.

  2. Limited Refund. TEN Habitat Inc offers a limited refund to Donors only where the Funding Campaign has not ended and the Donor has not received a Perk. TEN Habitat Inc does not offer refunds outside of the Campaign period, but may do so under our sole discretion. Where refunds are requested outside of the Campaign Period, a Donor may contact TEN Habitat Inc directly to request a refund.

  3. Credit Card Charges. When you Donate to a project, your card will be charged the amount of the Contribution plus a processing fee of 2% after you confirm and submit your payment information.

  4. Communications Between TEN Habitat Inc and Donors. Once you have made a Donation to the project, TEN Habitat Inc may need to contact you to obtain additional information, depending on what Perk was selected. In some instances, to receive the Perk, you may need to provide requested information within a specific time frame to receive the Perk, not doing so may result in your forfeiting the Perk.

  5. Taxes are your responsibility. Donors bear the sole responsibility for determining how to treat their Donations and receipt of any Perks for tax purposes. TEN Habitat Inc does not offer any advice or take any responsibility for how Donors treat their Donations or for any financial consequences arising out of such treatment.
